Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: July 12, 2026

  1. Free Trial — New Schools may access a free trial period (where offered) with no payment obligation. No refund applies as no charge is made during the trial.
  2. Subscription Cancellation — Schools may cancel their subscription at any time from the Billing section of the Super Admin/School Admin portal, or by contacting billing@stemlen.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  3. Refunds — Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has commenced, except where required by law or expressly stated in your order form. Pro-rated refunds may be considered at Stemlen's discretion for annual plans cancelled within 14 days of renewal.
  4. Failed/Duplicate Payments (Parent Fee Payments) — In the event of a failed transaction where funds were debited, or a duplicate payment, Parents should contact their School's Finance office or Stemlen support at billing@stemlen.com with the transaction reference. Verified duplicate/failed payments are refunded via the original payment method within 5–7 business days, subject to the payment processor's timelines.
  5. Service-Level Disputes — If the Platform fails to meet the agreed service levels for an Enterprise plan, Schools may raise a claim per the terms of their signed order form/SLA.
